Henry Frost is a 13-year-old who loves Nascar and hanging out with kids in his neighborhood. He also experiences autism and hearing loss, and he types to communicate using an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device. Henry lives less than 200 yards from Wilson Middle School in Tampa, Florida—a place that denied him access to education in a regular classroom because of his disabilities. Despite his parents’ offer to pay for an aide, the school district wanted to send Henry to a specialized program at another school.
