Learn effective and efficient strategies for providing accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities with the goal of keeping them connected to the general education curriculum. This workshop will cover pre-planning accommodation methods as well as strategies to help with those times when on-the-spot accommodations are needed.
Series Description:
Join your colleagues and expand your own toolbox of strategies to ensure that classrooms are well-supported, all students are learning, and solutions are implemented successfully through collaboration. This three-part training series will benefit those who support students with disabilities in inclusive classrooms. Paraprofessionals, teachers, parents, and other team members are encouraged to attend and can register for individual sessions or the entire series.

Laurie Lambert, M.Ed. brings a range of experience, perspectives, and expertise to the education of students with disabilities, having come up through the education ranks as a paraprofessional, Title 1 tutor, general and special educator, and inclusion facilitator. Laurie has had significant training in educating students with disabilities and holds graduate certificates in intellectual and development disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
