The Stop Hurting Kids Campaign has provided the film ‘Restraint and Seclusion: Hear Our Stories (working title)’ free to the public for training, professional development and public awareness. The 27 minute film by Dan Habib ( Including Samuel and Who Cares About Kelsey) filmmaker at the Institute on Disability at UNH features Jino Medina, Brianna Hammon and Peyton Goddard describing the restraint and seclusion they experienced while students in public schools, and the devastating physical and emotional injuries they suffered as a results. Carolyn Medina and Wil Beaudoin describe how the restraint and seclusion their children endured had an impact on them as parents.
