I’d like for people to see that people who communicate differently, whether by typing or by signing, have just as much to say as anyone else.
I would like people not to assume that non-verbal means ‘stupid’. One of my house mates is NV but she is definitely not ‘stupid’.
i am a champions special needs coach and i am 11 years old anf need a job also ask me any questins you have
I agree @jellybean ! “Not being able to speak is not the same as not having anything to say.” Rosemary Crosseley
I want people to realize that different does not mean less than.
I want people to realize that the kids I work with are NOT tragedies, and I am not a hero trying to “save” them.
I want the misconception that autistics are violent to please change. I don’t like having myself and several others thought of as violent people, because we’re not. We’re not violent. And I wish more people would realize that. Because if people keep thinking that autistics are violent, then that is bad, because we’re not violent.
i want people to realize that everyone need to unite our minds not judgement of other ignorant people
